Historically, the Congress party has had 2 large issues to take up with the BJP – insinuations that the Gujarat riots of 2002 were state-abetted and the second insinuation that the Telecom scam actually started under the NDA governance.
The Supreme Court of India has demolished both. And in pretty scathing judgements, has indicated that the law-enforcement agencies / individuals who were responsible for investigating these matters had colluded heavily with the UPA government / Congress leaders in order to make ends meet for these cases!

After this, can one comfortably state that both the BJP and Mr Modi have been systematically cleared? No more cases remain about the Gujarat riots of 2002 and none remain about the spectrum issuance during the NDA term too. Possibly Yes.
Given this, if the uber-motormouth Sanjay Jha talks about Modi’s hands being ‘tainted’ with the 2002 riots, would that constitute a contempt of court?
