There is something majorly wrong with the world today. We have allowed toxic-political-correctness to run our lives and have surrendered common sense to the social media ‘outrage’ brigade.

While this toxic-wokeness has been going on for a while now, often-times it rears its ugly head and does something so vile and ghastly that it makes me want (to quote Friends) “to rip off my arm just so that I can have something to throw at them”.

The Tokyo Olympics 2020 people became the latest to be volunteers of this rubbish. Volunteers? Yes. Volunteers. Not victims. Borrowing a quote from The West Wing – “There are victims of fires. There are victims of road accidents. For things like this there are no victims, just volunteers”. And the (insert expletive here) people running the Tokyo Olympics are the latest to volunteer to be sacrificed at the altar of this lunacy.

Here’s how:

1. The Opening Ceremony Director was fired hours before the event commenced because of a joke he made about the holocaust when he was directing a comedy routine / skit in 1998.

WTF!!!! That was 23 fuckin years ago. And he was doing a damn comedy routine. Like WTF is wrong with people!!! 😡😡😡

2. The Musical Director of the Olympics was forced to step down after being ‘cancelled’ when it was revealed that he had bullied a classmate, as a child, in 1994.

That’s 20fucking7 years ago!!!! And he was a child. I mean which child in 1994 was ‘woke’ enough to not bully??? 😠😠😠

3. The Creative Director of the entire Olympic event was forced to resign after being ‘cancelled’ for making a fat-joke in a private conversation with (who he thought was) a friend.

I can’t even begin to state how crazy this is… on so many levels!!! 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

This rubbish has gone too far. Just gone too far!!! This is toxic beyond belief. This is like being in Stalin’s Russia, Kim’s North Korea or Xi’s China where saying the ‘wrong’ thing or doing something ‘wrong’ would lead you to be put to death there, and ‘cancelled’ out of your professional life here.

The Olympic Committee should have stood their ground and told the outrage brigade to shove it!!! But no. They shrivelled up and gave in, just like the Oscar people did over Kevin Hart.

We are handing some extremely crucial societal capital over to a bunch of nutcases with access to the internet… to people who seem to know nothing except how to bitch. And pull people down for things they said & did years ago, removing from the equation the entire life they have lived thereafter and the kind of people they are now.

I really hope that I’m able to inoculate my soon-to-be-17 son and just-turned-14 daughter against this horrible toxic pandemic that’s far worse than anything that has come out of a Chinese lab. Atleast there are vaccines for SARS nCov2, while the search for the vaccine (which should basically be a healthy dose of ‘common sense’) against cancel-culture continues… 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
