#IWasTold is an initiative issued in public interest by Whistling Woods International on Women’s Day 2023. The phygital campaign started with a photography-driven campaign, a brand film and an on-ground activation. Conceptualised and created by Buffalo Soldiers, #IWasTold campaign was also extended into an open microsite, creating the scope for a larger activation that transcends gender.
Featuring notable alumni from Whistling Woods International, the nuanced campaign aspires to spark conversation on how limits are ‘suggested’ to women, while they are still perceived as being able to do it all.

Notably, one of the copywriters for the campaign – Rohit Prakash and the Producer of the Campaign – Akanscha Srivastava – both are Whistling Woods alumni and are currently working with Buffalo Soldiers – the agency that conceptualised and executed the campaign.
